サウンドクリエーター/DJ。選曲・ミキシングに於けるセンス、サウンドプロダクションに於ける才能が、海外でも高く評価されている。1980年代前半、映画『ワイルド・スタイル』に衝撃を受けヒップホップDJの道へ。1992年からソロ活動を本格的に開始、日本で初めてターンテーブルを楽器として操るDJとして注目を浴びる。1994年に1stアルバム『KRUSH』をリリース、現在までに12枚のソロ・アルバムと1枚のMIXアルバム、2枚のセルフリミックスアルバムをリリース。また、約30年に渡り国内外にて勢力的にDJ公演を行い、英国最大の音楽フェスティバル、グラストンベリー（イギリス）をはじめ、コーチュラ（アメリカ）、モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバル（スイス）、ソナー（スペイン）、ロスキレ（デンマーク）など、200以上もの様々な音楽ミュージック・フェスティバルに出演。多岐に渡り高い評価を得続けるインターナショナル・アーティストとして世界を舞台に独自の軌跡を残し続けている。

Sound creator and DJ. His talent in song selection and mixing as well as in sound production are highly applauded internationally. Influenced by film “Wild Style”, he entered the world of Hip hop DJ in the early 1980s. In 1992, he began his solo activities and gained attention as the first DJ to adroitly manipulate the turntable as an instrument. In 1994, he released his first album ‘KRUSH’ and since then, he has released 12 solo albums, 1 mix album, and 2 self-remix albums. Over the course of 30 years or so, he has actively performed DJ sets both domestically and internationally, partaking in various music festivals worldwide, including the UK’s largest music festival, Glastonbury, as well as Coachella (USA), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Sonar (Spain), Roskilde (Denmark), and more than 200 other various music festivals. As an international artist with a wide range of talents, DJ KRUSH continues to leave his unique trajectories on the world stage.

日本から世界へ、唯一無二の音響宇宙を発信し続けてきたDJ KRUSH。ヒップホップをルーツに持ちながらも、その深淵な表現はもはやジャンルという枠組みでは語りきれません。ターンテーブルをひとつの「楽器」として操り、独自の美学を築き上げてきた、日本が世界に誇るアーティストです。
彼のプレイには、日本人ならではの静謐な美意識が滲み出ています。音を重ねるのではなく、あえて「引く」ことで生まれる緊張感と美しさ。静けさや余白までも音楽として成立させ、その中から重厚で深いグルーヴを紡ぎ出していきます。
これほどまでに「音そのものの鳴り」と真摯に向き合うDJは、世界中を見渡しても極めて稀です。彼が描く唯一無二の世界が、ONE PARK FESTIVALの空間にどのように響き渡るのか、期待に胸が高鳴ります。
From Japan to the world, DJ KRUSH has continued to create and transmit a sonic universe entirely his own. Although his roots lie in hip-hop, the depth of his expression can no longer be contained within the boundaries of genre. By treating the turntable as an instrument in its own right, he has forged a singular aesthetic and established himself as one of Japan's most internationally respected artists.
A distinctly Japanese sense of stillness runs through DJ KRUSH’s work. He does not build intensity by crowding the sound, but by stripping it back—allowing silence, space and restraint to become compositional elements in their own right. Within that carefully sculpted emptiness, he creates grooves of immense depth, weight and emotional gravity.
Few DJs anywhere in the world engage so deeply and sincerely with the character and resonance of sound itself. We look forward with great anticipation to hearing how the singular world he creates will resonate throughout ONE PARK FESTIVAL.
